What is RAMS?
Rockin’ Against Multiple Sclerosis (RAMS) is a steering committee comprised of students at the University of Missouri. Throughout Feb., the committee hosts events at MU and in the Columbia community to raise money and awareness for the fight against MS. Awareness and fundraising are done through events such as the annual Rock-It competition—a lip-sync contest in which students impersonate their favorite musical acts—There is also an opportunity for students to send their friends to "jail" in our Jail-N-Bail. Speaker provides a chance for participants to come together for an emotional and inspiring presentation from MS patients. Other RAMS events include a comedy night, t-shirt sales, high school fundraisers and a banner competition. All proceeds go directly to benefit MS patients in mid-Missouri.
