ROCK IT TIMES AND DATES: Rock-It Dress Rehearsal February 17th Rockin’ Against Multiple Sclerosis gets its name from this event. Rock-It is a lip-sync competition that takes place at The Blue Note in downtown Columbia. Each organization puts together a lip-sync act and performs it on stage at The Blue Note. This is the main competition for participating organizations, and a lot of time and effort goes into preparations for this event. There are two nights of prelims which occur the Monday and Tuesday of RAMS week. The top acts are then asked back to perform again at Rock-It finals Friday during RAMS week. At finals, the Steering Committee is able to announce all the winners from the week’s events and the final amount of money raised. |
